A gathering for folks who work with MEN
Sunday, May 18th · 2–5pm
Neighbourhood Unitarian Universalist Congregation
A casual afternoon gathering for those who support men — coaches, facilitators, leaders, and allies.
The goal:
- To meet each other.
- To share what we’re seeing.
- To cross-pollinate ideas, resources, and referrals.
We’re all working in our own corners of the men’s space.
Let’s be in the same room for a few hours and see what emerges.

I didn’t plan to end up here. Divorce took everything — my home, my certainty, my sense of self, and forced me to start over. Along the way, I started helping other men do the same.
This gathering is a way to connect with others doing this work, swap stories, and see how we can support each other.
David Jurasek
David Jurasek looks younger than he is. This might be the vigour and joy he gets from working with boys and men for over 25 years. He is a grateful father, husband, Sensei, psychotherapist and men’s community leader.
In these uncertain and beguiling times, he is doubling down on building powerful alliances and strong and lasting communities.
Michael Boulger
Michael has been studying and facilitating self development since 2000. He transformed from a reluctant and directionless hippie to a committed and purpose driven hippie.
The roles he now plays are business owner, men’s group facilitator, husband, father and coach. And occasional storyteller to those who are three.
Jonathan Tarrant
Mens Community, Empowerment and Support at its Finest.
I guide men out of isolation and self destruction, into Deep Connection, Balance and discovery of their inner King.
Zhivka Stefanova
Zhivka Stefanova is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist in Private practice. Zhivka works with adults, families and children struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, depression, grief and loss. Zhivka has been a co-facilitator of the “In Search of the Peaceful Warrior” men’s program at The Native Child and Family Centre.
Bruce Lyne
A dedicated educator and community builder, I facilitate peace circles and engage in conflict resolution. I have been engaged in men’s work for 18 years, and have been leading and mentoring for the past 5 years. My passion is deep dialogue—creating space for honesty, intimacy, and connection across differences.
Mike Stroh
My fundamental goal is to help and encourage you to look at the difficult parts of your life that are holding you back, while simultaneously helping you to cultivate the skills to live a full and meaningful life!
Stephen N. Davies
Since 2006, he has co-led the Circle of Peers, a men’s group with the mission of holding space for men to be present for one another so that we can witness each other’s lives. Our mission grows out of a shared need for companionship or brotherhood with other men. The need is real and the purpose of the Circle of Peers is to create a context where we can “come to meet” and where we can be vulnerable with each other in loving and caring communion. We all value the power and potency that circle creates for each of us from a personal and collective development standpoint.
Marc Lemyre
